K.P.Sundharambal was the first in the Actresses to get a Salary of 1 Lakh and create History. Just like her, the 1st Heroine to get the Salary of more than 1 Crore and create shock to the other Heroines is Nayanthara.
Call-sheet was requested from Nayanthara for the film, which is to be directed by Linguswamy. She accepted to act in the film. But, the Salary demanded by her made others to get shocked. She demanded a whopping 1 and ½ Crores! This Salary is not new to Nayan. The leading Actress Ileana was getting the Salary of 1 Crore in Telugu. Recently, Nayanthara acted in a Telugu film, for that she demanded a Salary of 1 and ½ Crores to surpass Ileana. Nayanthara is demanding the same Salary in Tamil also.
Even then, without any hesitations, Linguswamy has accepted to give that Salary to her.
